Building and using obstacles involves a risk of serious injury, permanent disability or death. No document, inspection, protective surface or supervision can eliminate every risk.
What our plans provide
Ninja Warrior Blueprints supplies downloadable plans and general DIY information for personal, non-commercial projects. We do not supply a completed structure, materials, installation, an inspection or a site-specific engineering assessment. Website content, drawings, videos, emails and support replies are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who has assessed your actual project.
Purchasing or downloading plans does not certify a structure as safe, code-compliant or suitable for a particular person, location or use. Do not infer a load rating, allowable user weight, age range or number of simultaneous users from a photograph, demonstration or product description. If these limits or any instructions are unclear, stop and obtain qualified advice before building or use.
Your site and construction responsibilities
You are responsible for assessing your site, obtaining necessary permissions and permits, and complying with applicable building, zoning and other requirements. Conditions such as soil, drainage, buried utilities, nearby structures, weather and material deterioration may affect suitability. Check with the appropriate local authorities and qualified professionals; do not assume that a backyard project is exempt from local requirements.
Have a qualified structural engineer or other appropriately qualified professional assess structural questions, foundations, anchoring, connections, material substitutions and project-specific loads before construction or use. Follow tool and material manufacturers’ instructions and use appropriate construction precautions. Do not proceed with incomplete, conflicting or misunderstood instructions.
Risks during use
Hazards include falls, collisions, loss of grip, impact with equipment or the ground, entrapment, entanglement, sharp edges, moving parts and structural failure. Physical ability, fatigue, health conditions, wet surfaces and unsuitable clothing or accessories can increase risk. Users should stop when conditions or their ability make participation unsafe, and seek medical advice when appropriate.
Assess clearances, fall areas and suitable impact-attenuating surfacing for the actual equipment and potential fall height with qualified assistance. Grass, ordinary flooring or a thin mat must not be assumed to provide sufficient fall protection. General home-playground guidance may help identify hazards, but is not an engineering approval or a complete safety specification for a ninja obstacle.
Children, guests and supervision
Children require active, responsible adult supervision. The supervising adult must assess whether an activity is appropriate for the individual child and the actual structure, explain the hazards and rules, and stop unsafe behavior. Adult supervision does not make an unsuitable obstacle safe. Prevent unsupervised access, and do not permit use of unfinished, damaged or unassessed equipment.
Anyone responsible for the structure should inform guests and other users of its limitations and known hazards. This page does not purport to obtain a release from a child or from a guest who has not agreed to your arrangements.
Inspection, maintenance and taking equipment out of use
Inspect equipment before use and arrange regular, appropriate maintenance and professional assessment. Look for deterioration, loose or missing hardware, damaged connections, instability, exposed sharp points and other hazards. Reassess after severe weather, movement, repairs or modifications. If there is damage, uncertainty or a suspected defect, stop use and prevent access until a qualified person has evaluated and addressed it. An informal visual check alone does not establish structural safety.
Customer photos and modifications
Customer photos, testimonials and videos show individual projects and experiences. They are not complete instructions, inspections, safety approvals or promises of the same result. Some builds are adaptations that differ from the plans. A featured photo does not mean we have verified its construction or that every visible feature is recommended.
Changing dimensions, layout, materials, hardware, anchoring or obstacles can change performance and risk. Do not copy a modification from a photo or assume our plans cover it. Obtain a project-specific professional assessment before making changes. Our plans are not authorization for commercial, public, school, gym or organized-event use.
Information, warranties and liability
We aim to provide useful information, but errors or omissions may occur. To the extent permitted by applicable law, general website information is provided as available, without a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, suitability for your particular project or freedom from risk. Use and construction decisions remain your responsibility.
